ORAL B
Oral-B is the oral hygiene products brand owned by the American multinational Procter & Gamble. The Oral-B brand sells manual and electric toothbrushes, oral irrigators, and dental floss.
The brand was founded in 1950 by Dr. Robert W. Hutson, a California periodontist who created and patented a type of toothbrush called Oral-B 60 because it had 60 bristles. Hutson formed a family business with two local pharmacists and began marketing Oral-B toothbrushes to dentists to raise awareness of the new product. After a small amount of success, Huston sold his company, which was acquired by the Gillette Group (Braun) . In 2005, Gillette was acquired by Procter & Gamble.
Oral B is currently focused on promoting healthy oral hygiene habits to transform people's health and reduce the impact on the planet .
The brand's flagship products are electric toothbrushes and their accompanying replacement heads that adapt to any oral hygiene need.
Its wide range of products includes toothpastes, manual and children's toothbrushes, mouthwashes and dental floss.
