In 1955 Hermès debuted with its first line of perfumes , for its perfume collections Hermès relies on names such as Maurice Maurin, Olivia Giacobetti, Fabrice Pellegrin, Christine Ngel and Guy Robert. The perfumes brought to light by this brand are many but among these Doblis by Hermès certainly stands out. Released in 1955 Doblis was born from the nose of Guy Robert who chose coriander and thyme as an initial impact that through jasmine and rose sweetens to then stop on aromas of oak moss, leather and sandalwood. Continuing on the women's line in 1974 Amazone was released, a fragrance of the Floral Aldelic group composed by Maurice Maurin. More fruity, Amazone focuses on mandarin, cassia and galbanum as top notes. Iris, raspberry, bermaot and Brazilian rosewood follow as heart notes that stop on fragrances of cinnamon, cedar and ylang ylang, a product that immediately achieves enormous success among the public who continues to honor it over the years, as evidence of this in 2017, Hermès will re-release Amazone in a completely new version but faithful to the original. In 1986 the men's line also came out, Bel Ami is a creation of Jean-Louis Sieuzac. Bel Ami has very pungent top notes thanks to sage, bergamot and lemon. The aromas settle on more masculine tones of leather, oak moss, styrax and amber. Production then continues with Aroma d'Orange Verte a unisex perfume once again created by Maurice Maurin with a citrus fragrance of orange and lime blossom.
