AS DES GARDENS
COMME DES GARCONS
The fashion house COMME DES GARCONS was founded in Tokyo by the eclectic Rei Kawakubo in 1969. Comme des Garçons is today an empire that also produces perfumes.
He then moves from women's clothing to men's, and similarly introduces essences for men after those for women.
Unconventional perfumes, as defined by the company itself, certainly unique and recognizable. The first perfume, naturally called "Comme Des Garçons," was released in 1994. This was followed in 1998 by "Odeur 53," which the company advertised as "anti-perfume."
It's impossible not to find your own fragrance in the parent company's catalogue.
There are many perfumes that stand out for having an extraordinary, truly unique fragrance , like 'Comme Des Garçons', the original perfume that is also presented as such in its packaging.
Eccentric ampoules, as eccentric as the creators behind them, asymmetrical containers that confuse the sight even before the smell.
The essences of this perfume are blended in a targeted way and tested down to the last drop.
And what about the spicy fragrance "Black Pepper"? Or the evocatively named "2 Love Hurts," or "2 Flower Power." Finally, or rather, just to begin, with the perfume "Amazinggreen," which comes in a green ampoule -shaped container reminiscent of musk. Also not to be missed is the "Wonderwood" model, an eau de parfum that blends five woody essences for an almost hypnotic effect.
Agarwood, cedarwood, cypress, sandalwood, and gaïac are the starting elements that create a truly magical perfume. Ground mugwort combined with mystical incense gives life to another unmissable product, "Blue Eau de Parfum," also available in versions with Australian sandalwood, pine, and juniper berries, or with Virginia cedarwood, metallic rose, and quinine.
