Founded in 1984 by brothers Christian and Thomas Meyer (both colorblind), the brand's goal is to inspire and help everyone to love what makes them different and, also, to love differently , as the word itself suggests.

Desigual is described as a brand of a thousand colors . Its designers rely on the patchwork technique, a sewing method that involves sewing together small pieces of material, created in an ethnic and boho style. Paisley, patches, geometric patterns, or flowers of various sizes: these are the motifs often found in Desigual collections. Asymmetrical and unconventional cuts are also characteristic.
