Grès is a fashion house that conveys an ideal of elegance and femininity. Its garments, worn by very famous people, have become synonymous with haute couture.

The founder of the brand, the designer Germaine Émilie Krebs, known as Madame Grès , who had been working in fashion since the 1930s. In 1942, Madame opened the Grès fashion house, whose name was an anagram of her husband's first name.

The first Grès perfume was created in 1958. Grès Cabochard , the name of the essence, was inspired by the trip to India from which Madame Grès had just returned. This iconic fragrance is still on the market and still enjoys great popularity. Also very popular is the eau de parfum Cabotine de Grès , a floral fragrance containing notes of tuberose, hyacinth and carnations ideal for everyday wear.
