JIMMY CHOO

Jimmy Choo was born in Malaysia in 1961, the son of a shoe manufacturer. His approach to fashion began as a child, producing his first pair of shoes at just 11 years old. At the age of 25, after moving to the United Kingdom, he opened his first shoemaking workshop, renovating an old hospital building in East London.
In 1988, thanks also to the sponsorship of the Princess of Wales, Diana Spencer , who greatly appreciated his work, the well-known magazine Vogue dedicated an eight-page feature to the creations of the Malaysian designer, consecrating him as one of the most popular fashion designers in the world.

In 2001, the Malaysian dedicated himself exclusively to Jimmy Choo Couture and sold 50% of the company shares for the sum of ten million dollars, dividing the company into two parts: one managed by her and one, Jimmy Choo pret-a-porter, under the control of Tamara Mellon.
In recent years, Jimmy Choo Ltd.'s expertise has expanded to include a line of accessories, handbags, and sunglasses. At the same time, Jimmy Choo also entered the world of perfumery with a line of irresistible and sensual fragrances for both men and women .
The renowned shoe brand launched its first perfume in 2011 , in collaboration with one of the greatest perfumers on the world scene: Oliver Polge.
