JOHN GALLIANO
Alongside his stylistic creations, John Galliano began to nurture a certain interest in the perfume line that began in 2008 with John Galliano, a perfume for the women's line . It began by taking inspiration from the Floral Aldehyde group, through an inspiration from Aurelien Guichard and Christine Nagel who focused on top notes of Aldehydes and Bergamot and then toned down with rose, violet and Iris. The base notes chosen were incense, cedar and musk. Femininity and love for the theatre came to light with the new perfumes of the following years, perfumes that even in their names are immediately similar to the John Galliano brand. In 2010, Parlez-Moi d'Amour was released. A perfume with fruity aromas of blueberry and ginger, which settles on aromas of musk, patchouli and cypress. Almost like a sequel, in 2012 Parlez-Moi d'Amour Encore was released. The production for the women's line continues and once again reference is made to blueberry, accentuated by plum and mandarin as top notes. Iris and gardenia are then the heart notes that accompany towards cypress, sandalwood and patchouli. The men's line is reached in 2013 with Before Midnight. A perfume created by Sophie Labbe that focuses on green apple, white pepper and cardamom, with heart notes of plum and lavender that soften towards more subtle and masculine notes of tobacco and tonka bean. Another masterpiece is Parlez-Moi d'Amour By Night. The women's collection is therefore expanded with this perfume released in 2015 that continues the traditional pairing of bergamot and ginger, and blueberry and jasmine.
