MORRIS
MORRIS
Morris Profumi is a brand founded in Parma in 1946 by Giuseppe Borri, a visionary entrepreneur. Morris initially focused on English-style footwear, but within months of opening the business, Borri recognized the potential of another sector: fragrances. Thus, he shifted his focus from footwear to high-quality perfumery inspired by French tradition.
The first Morris fragrance was Napoleon in 1946, followed by national and international successes including Désirée (inspired by the 1950s film of the same name with Marlon Brando and Jean Simmons), IN, Glory by Fontana, for the Fontana Sisters fashion house, Ingrid, Sir Robert.
With Napoleon for Men , Morris was the first company to launch a complete men's line, anticipating what would later become a global trend. Starting in the 1980s, it acquired numerous licenses for the production of fragrances, primarily Italian and mostly linked to the world of fashion: La Perla, Sergio Tacchini, Fiorucci, Krizia, Genny, Mila Schon, as well as Ferrari, as well as the proprietary brands I Coloniali and Atkinsons, ending with Liu Jo, Iceberg, and Fiat 500.
Morris Profumi has always held values such as respect for people and the environment at heart and for years has implemented every behavior and activity useful for reducing the environmental impact of its activities as much as possible, also receiving the award as Ambassador of Corporate Social Responsibility .
