Zippo is a brand that deals with the production of lighters, founded by Mr Blaisdell who replicated and improved an Austrian lighter, not very resistant and impractical. The inventor, to achieve his goal, created a small rectangular case to which he applied a lid with a hinge. The name Zippo, in fact, derives from Zip , or hinge, another invention of the time. The new product was a huge success and even today its expansion does not stop.
