Revlon was born in 1932, thanks to the intuition of the brothers Charles Joseph Revson and the chemist Charles Lachman, from which the L in the name derives. The three have gone down in the history of cosmetics for having produced and sold the first modern nail polish. They had an idea that was considered revolutionary for the time: instead of using paints, they thought of using real pigments as bases for the colors, in this way they had the possibility of expanding the color range and definitively entered the Olympus of global cosmetics. In the fifties they launched lipsticks on the market, then continuing with lines of cosmetics for the face and eyes. The boom of the Revlon brand dates back to the eighties, when the brand was also distributed in department stores, becoming one of the most widespread and well-known beauty brands in the world. In the nineties Revlon chose Halle Berry as its testimonial and launched the well-known ColorStay line on the market, which is still the best-selling line of the brand today. One of Revlon's flagship products is the Colorstay 24h Foundation, ideal for combination or oily skin.
