Nel 1993 decide di proporre il suo primo profumo che ancora oggi è un'icona di irriverenza e trasgressione. La nota che caratterizza il lavoro di questa maison, è l'attenzione ad ogni minimo particolare. Protagoniste sono le sue fragranze, inserite in un mezzo busto maschile o femminile e racchiuse in una lattina di conserva. Disegnati dallo stesso Gautier, dal 1995 caratterizzano le sue essenze con varie profumazioni uniche per originalità. Diverse sono le sue linee. Per una donna sofisticata e trasgressiva viene proposto Scandal , profumo ammaliante per una donna fatale, presentato anche nella versione Scandal a Paris e Scandal By night, per non passare inosservate.
